Hi, I’m Kristyn—the face behind Delightfully Booked Edits.
Before stepping into the editing and publishing world, I worked as a speech-language pathologist, where I developed a strong foundation in language, communication, and clarity—skills that naturally carried into editing.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve proofread and line edited hundreds of books while working closely with authors as a PA behind the scenes. My primary focus is now line editing, with additional proofreading/light copyediting services available as needed.
I am a Silver Member of The Christian PEN (Proofreaders and Editors Network) and continue to strengthen my skills through The PEN Institute. Alongside freelance editing, I currently work for Sunrise Publishing as a line editor, as well as their Innovations & New Projects Specialist—giving me experience with both the creative and technical side of publishing. I love helping authors strengthen flow, polish sentences, and create manuscripts that feel seamless while still preserving the heart and voice of the story.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband and two boys, reading multiple books at a time, watching my favorite sports teams, or reorganizing my bookshelves for the hundredth time! You can follow my editing page @delightfullybookededits or my bookstagram page @delightfullybooked for fun content!
Happy book birthday to Nothing But Air, the 3rd book in the Summer Rangers romantic suspense series—which happens to be my favorite series in this genre at the moment.
@susanmaywarren and @tarifaris may not know (or maybe they do) what kind of 🔥 they started when they teamed up, but I’m here to encourage it to continue!
Thank you @revellfiction for my gifted copy!
Description:
One last chance at fortune—or disaster.
When it becomes clear to the Summer Rangers of Grand Canyon National Park that the treasure hunters aren’t going to stop—and the injuries will only keep mounting—they have no choice but to shut down the park. They’ll have to find the treasure themselves to stop the chaos. Ranger dispatcher and former championship climber Eden Garrison has built her new life on solid ground—no more death-defying ascents, and no more tragic deaths. But when her secret past is exposed, she’s forced back into the dangerous vertical world in the hope of saving lives.
Ranger and adrenaline junkie Teague Hamilton lives for the rush, but this mission isn’t about glory—it’s about the woman climbing beside him, whom he’s harbored feelings for all summer. But Eden’s walls are sky-high, and Teague knows the only way to reach her is to prove he’ll never let her fall.
When family heir Marcus Roosevelt arrives with knowledge of the treasure’s location and Eden’s old climbing friend Kyle Morrison shows up to help end the deadly hunt, two teams are in pursuit. But Kyle and Marcus are not who they seem. When mysterious accidents start happening and teammates are injured, Teague and Eden realize this is much more than a search for treasure—it’s a fight for their lives. They’re about to discover the only treasure that matters is trust . . . and the only way out is together.
QOTD: Which two authors would you like to see team up? Even if it’s a genre mash-up?

I’m still thinking about Stone and Daisy 🌼 I absolutely loved how Larissa handled their backstories and emotions throughout the book, and a protective MMC gets me every time 🥹.
Description:
What happens when the one person you thought was in your past ends up right in front of you?
Stone Reilly is the guy everyone counts on—the steady hockey star, the loyal teammate, the ultimate good guy. But when an all-star tournament brings him to Washington, DC, the last complication he expects is running into a girl from a part of his life he’d locked away a long time ago. Now she’s all grown up . . . and wants nothing to do with him.
Daisy Bennett is too busy juggling two jobs—including housekeeping at Stone’s hotel—to get tangled up in the past. Their lives couldn’t be more different, and she’s worked too hard to move forward to risk slipping back into old patterns . . . or old feelings.
But between shared hallways, unexpected run-ins, and a hockey player who keeps showing up exactly when she needs someone, Daisy finds herself pulled back to the one person who once made the world feel a little less heavy. And the more time they spend together, the harder it is to ignore what’s still there.
Because some connections don’t break. They wait.
Will they finally get a second chance at the one thing they could never let go of?
Thank you @larissa_hommes for my gifted copy! Peep 👀 those other LH books in the background!
And if you guys didn’t already know, Larissa has a great YA series too!
